If your budget is limited, or you don't need the flight case and Cutaway shockmount bundled with standard production Mini K microphones, these "LC Edition" mics will get you a genuine, new production Roswell "Mini K" microphone at the lowest possible cost.
The microphones themselves are identical to the standard edition Mini K microphones. The extended Roswell microphone warranty is included.
The LC Edition microphones are bundled with a heavy-duty swivel mount and a Roswell microfleece pouch. If you prefer to have a shockmount and flight case, choose the standard edition mics instead.

I am a 20 year full-time voice over talent. I've been using nothing but the MKH416 for last 7 years. I had read good reviews (and YouTube videos) about the Roswell Mini K87 and thought 'why not' try something new. WOW. This is one of the most versatile, yet clean microphones I've ever owned. It has all the 'good' things without any of the bad. Warmth but still has clarity. Presence without the harshness or mid range honk. I think I found my 'new' forever mic. Can't beat it for the price, period.
How fabulous to be able to use the Roswell mics on every aspect of the recording process. Vocals, acoustic guitar, drums, violin, electric guitar amps; the list is limitless. And the new mic stand adapter is a game changer; no more crusty rubber bands! Cheers mates.
I recently purchased my 2nd mini k-47 mic. After 2 years of using this mic on vocals, acoustic guitar, voice over, and mono drum overhead, I found it to be reliable on capturing the source quite well. To my ears, there is a bit of weight or thickness I can get when capturing voices or sources that may be thinner sounding with this mic without all the extra muddiness or boxy midrange . The top end has never sounded harsh or brittle. If you are looking for a super bright mic, this is not the mic. However, it takes eq very well during tracking or mixing. This mic is such a great all around mic, I decided to get a second one for stereo applications. Very pleased with the results.
Great sounding mic for the price. The magic here is the transformer - it really adds some nice saturation and harmonic content. I never thought I could afford a mic with a transformer!
The Mini K87 is very smooth with a nice bottom end, especially when recording my acoustic guitar. On my vocals, there is no harshness or sibilance without blunting the upper mids.
I'm very pleased with my Roswell mini k67x. Music stores should have mic closets where customers can test mics. This one would be a favorite. It sounds great on my acoustic guitar. I am very happy with the choice I made which took me quite a long time..I wanted to get the right microphone. I believe, I did.
This is one of the finest microphones that I've ever used.
Having been the voices of Coca-Cola, Baskin/Robbins, Seiko Watches, and Beneficial Finance, among other accounts that go back fifty years, the sound of the Roswell MK47 is indeed music to my ears. And what a versatile tool it is, too. I'm carrying it into the studio on my next assignment to show off to the other talent and crew.
Thanks a million Matt!
