Free Shipping Policy

We offer free shipping on all microphone orders (over $349) within the US. We will ship via FedEx, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS at our discretion. If you prefer a faster service, or shipping insurance, or signature requirement, you can choose that during the check-out process.

The free shipping option does not require a signature at time of delivery. Neither Roswell Pro Audio nor the carrier (UPS/FedEx/UPS) is able to provide insurance coverage for porch theft. We strongly encourage the use of secure delivery addresses.

Shipping – Domestic US

  • Most orders are shipped within one business day. In the event that an item cannot be shipped within three business days, we would notify you via email.
  • The "free Ground shipping" option does not provide insurance for damage or theft. If you prefer to insure the shipment, choose one of the branded shipping methods, e.g. "FedEx Home Delivery."
  • Choose from USPS, FedEx, and UPS options during check-out (or choose the free "Ground shipping" option).
  • If you provide a valid email address at the time of ordering, you will receive tracking information when the shipping label is generated.
  • If the package you receive shows visible damage, immediately photograph the shipping carton. Retain the carton until you determine whether the contents were damaged in transit. Shippers require proof of damage before paying claims.
  • If you are shipping to a hotel, the shipping address must contains both the name of the hotel and the name of the registered guest.

Local Pickup

The check-out system offers a free local pickup option for customers in the vicinity of Santa Rosa, CA.

Shipping – International

  • We request that non-US customers provide a telephone number at the time of ordering. We will include this with the invoice, so the local delivery courier can contact you if necessary to coordinate delivery.
  • Most orders are shipped within one business day. In the event that an item cannot be shipped within three business days, we would notify you via email.
  • Choose from USPS, UPS, or FedEx options during check-out. Carrier rates are discounted significantly. (International shipping remains expensive, even with our negotiated rates and discounts.)
  • We provide all required information on the customs form, including the full value of the order. Requests to under-declare the value or "mark as gift" cannot be honored.
  • We submit invoice/customs documentation to FedEx and UPS electronically. For other carriers, we would affix a packing slip / invoice to the outside of the box, to facilitate import processing.
  • If your country of residence imposes import fees, duty, or VAT, you will be charged by the carrier upon delivery. If you are not familiar with your country's import policies, please research the matter before placing your order.
  • International postal shipments are often delayed for Customs processing, by up to 45 days. For faster processing, choose FedEx or UPS.
  • If the package you receive shows visible damage, immediately photograph the shipping carton. Retain the carton until you determine whether the contents were damaged in transit. Shippers require proof of damage before paying claims.

Returns

  • We accept returns that are received at our address within 21 days of the purchase date. 
  • No RMA is needed.
  • We strongly recommend that return shipments are insured against loss or damage. 
  • We do not charge a flat "restocking" fee. Instead, we charge as little as possible to cover the costs of processing returns:
    • Products that exhibit signs of use / abuse / damage would incur a repair fee, which would be deducted from the refund amount.
    • Any item missing from the returned product -- including the manual, QC card, spare O-rings, the product box -- would incur a replacement fee, which would be deducted from the refund amount.
    • Transaction costs are deducted from the refund amount. Typically, this would include the original outbound shipping costs, and any credit card / gateway / merchant fees that are not refunded by payment processors (usually 3-4% of the original charged amount).
    • 50% of the cost of any Custom Shop upgrades is deducted from the refund amount.
  • Refunds will be sent within 5 business days of the returned item's delivery at our facility.  

Cancelled Orders

Payment providers (credit card firms, Paypal, etc) no longer refund their commissions for cancelled transactions. Microphone orders that are cancelled prior to fulfillment can be refunded, but the refund would not include whatever commission was retained by the payment provider or gateway. These fees are typically between 3% and 5% of the total payment amount.
